Consulting: Creative & Spiritual Support

Creative work and spiritual life both ask you to keep moving in a world that doesn’t always make space for who you are or what you carry. Maybe you feel stuck in your practice, up against gatekeeping in the art world, or worn down by ableism, homophobia, racism, transphobia, and other forms of harm. Maybe the block is more internal: fatigue, doubt, or a quiet sense that something essential is missing.

Across years of navigating my own artistic path, vocational shifts, and spiritual upheavals, I’ve had to reorient over and over again, through crisis, loss of faith, rebuilding, and creative breakthrough. Sitting with hundreds of people in similar thresholds has given me not only deep compassion, but also practical insight into what helps us move from stuckness into momentum, from numbness into meaning.

In this work, I don’t hand you a single “right” answer. Instead, I bring a set of tools: creative strategy, grounding, energetic direction, and lived experience at the edges of institutional and alternative worlds, to help you see your situation clearly, name what’s actually true for you, and access your own intuition and inner wisdom.

Together, we look at what’s blocking you, what’s possible, and what it would take to move in the direction that feels most honest.

If you’re ready to feel more recognition and possibility in your art, your vocation, or your spiritual life, explore the offerings below. Each one is designed to meet you where you are and support you in taking the next real step, toward work and ways of living that feel more like you.

Creative consulting: grounded support for your work and world

Creative consulting sessions are one-hour, focused conversations designed to support artists, therapists, and other creative professionals at key moments of transition or growth. Drawing on experience as both an MFA-trained interdisciplinary artist and a licensed psychotherapist, this offering blends practical guidance with reflective, person-centered support.

You might be feeling stuck in your practice, uncertain how to present your work, or overwhelmed by the realities of the art world — from gatekeeping and institutional bias to the everyday logistics of sustaining a creative life. Or you might be on the cusp of a new chapter (an MFA, a residency, a shift in your practice or vocation) and wanting clarity, structure, and support as you move.

What this work can offer

Creative direction and artistic clarity
Together, we’ll explore the current shape of your practice, name what feels most alive, and clarify the direction you want to move toward next.
We might map out your body of work, identify themes and through-lines, or discern which projects are asking for your attention now and which can rest for later.

Professional support for applications and materials
This space can hold the concrete pieces that often feel intimidating or draining: applications for MFA programs, grants, residencies, fellowships, and other opportunities.
We’ll refine artist statements, personal narratives, CVs, bios, and portfolio structure so they feel coherent, compelling, and honest to who you are.

Portfolio, curation, and visibility
You can receive support in organizing and curating your portfolio across mediums (visual, textual, digital, performance), as well as thinking through where and how your work might live in the world.
We can look at websites, social presence, and documentation strategies from the perspective of both artistic integrity and practical accessibility.

Support for navigating the art world
This offering recognizes that ableism, homophobia, racism, transphobia, classism, and other forms of harm shape how artists are seen, funded, and included.
We’ll attend to these realities while centering your agency, boundaries, and imaginative strategies for moving through and around existing structures.

How this is different from therapy

Creative consulting is not psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.
Therapy focuses on diagnosis, symptom relief, trauma processing, and functional change, and is regulated by specific laws, ethics, and licensing boards.

Creative consulting focuses on artistic direction, professional development, creative process, and how your work lives in relation to the worlds you move through.
In this container:

  • We will not be working with insurance, diagnosis, or documentation for medical purposes.

  • We will be tending to questions like: What is my work asking of me now? How do I want to show up in my practice and profession? What feels most aligned and sustainable for me as an artist and healer?
If it becomes clear that you would benefit from psychotherapy, crisis support, or a different level of care, that will be named directly and we can collaborate on referrals or adjustments.

 Spiritual Direction & Existential Support

Spiritual Direction & Existential Support
$250.00

Queer, animist, decolonial care for meaning, magic, and the more‑than‑human

A space for your biggest questions

You might feel a tug toward something larger than yourself, but the words “religion” or “spirituality” feel too narrow, colonized, or painful.

You might be sensing shifts in your relationships, art, body, or dreams that don’t fit neatly into a diagnosis or treatment plan.

Or you might be in the middle of a major life transition, grief, or awakening, and find yourself asking: What is this all for? Who am I in relation to land, ancestors, community, and the unseen?

This offering is for people who want grounded, non‑dogmatic support for exploring spiritual and existential questions — including those shaped by queerness, kink, polyamory, neurodivergence, and Indigenous or diasporic cosmologies.

It is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment; it is relational, depth‑oriented spiritual direction and existential companionship.

Is this you right now?

What this work can offer

Rooted, non‑dogmatic spiritual direction

Together, we’ll explore your relationship to spirit, the unseen, the more‑than‑human, and the mysteries of your own life without imposing a pre‑made path.

We might work with symbols, dreams, tarot, ritual, creativity, or guided reflection as ways of listening more deeply to what is already speaking in and around you.

Existential support for big transitions

This space can hold life events that don’t fit neatly into “problems to solve”: grief, endings, vocational or artistic pivots, shifts in belief, aging, or initiatory experiences. I specialize in offering existential support for artists and multi-passionate people.

We’ll sit with questions of meaning, purpose, mortality, and belonging — not to find one final answer, but to help you feel more anchored, honest, and resourced in how you live.

Queer, kink‑aware, and poly‑affirming spiritual care

Your queerness, kink, polyamory, relationship anarchy, or chosen family constellations are welcomed as part of your spiritual landscape, not obstacles to it.

We can explore how desire, power, devotion, consent, and play show up in your spiritual and relational life, and how they connect to your ethics, values, and sense of the sacred.

Animist and Indigenous‑informed cosmologies

If it feels right for you, we can attend to land, ancestors, spirits, and more‑than‑human kin as real relational presences, not metaphors.
We’ll also stay awake to questions of lineage, appropriation, and decolonial practice — honoring your ancestral and cultural roots while being mindful about what you engage and how.
