Over the years, I have joined various podcast hosts to discuss how we can break free from these structures.
We dive into mental health, witchcraft, Indigenous Futurism, queer aesthetics, and the significance of magic in contemporary art. Whether we are dismantling capitalist panic or discussing what it means to be a multi-passionate person, my goal is simple: I want to help others trust in their weirdness and build a life that feels authentic.
About Me
As a multi-hyphenate artist, curator, psychotherapist, educator, and brujx weaving together psychological insights, spiritual wisdom, and creative expression, I bring a unique perspective on how ancient practices, queer and feminist perspectives, and Indigenous wisdom can transform our modern understanding of consciousness and interconnection.
I also host the podcast Your Art Is A Spell.
My story is one of resilience, transformation, and forging an unlikely path. As the queer, nonbinary child of undocumented immigrants who grew up in a low-income community, I carved my own way from grassroots beginnings to international recognition.
Starting in the underground DIY scene organizing queer and trans music and art festivals, my work has now been featured in some of the world's most prestigious art institutions, including LACMA, the Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco, The Broad, and the Vincent Price Art Museum.
My art has been displayed on skyscrapers and even reached the surface of the moon via the Lunar Codex. Recently, I was the only American to receive the highly competitive 2026 Mensch Maschine Fellowship through the Akademie der Künste in Berlin, a residency focused on art, technology, and environmentalism.
This journey represents not just personal achievement, but the power of community, perseverance, and staying true to one's authentic vision when you don't have the "right" background or privileges.
